What walks on four legs in the morning, two at noon and three in the evening?
Answer: A human. "Morning, noon, evening" is a metaphor for life: a baby crawls on all fours, an adult walks on two legs, and in old age leans on a cane. This is the famous Riddle of the Sphinx.
2. The more you take
The more you take from it, the bigger it gets. What is it?
Answer: A hole.
3. The family
Maria's father has five daughters: Chacha, Cheche, Chichi, Chocho and… what's the fifth one called?
Answer: Maria. Read the first sentence again — her name is already there.
4. No hands, no legs
No hands, no legs, yet it opens doors. What is it?
Answer: The wind.
5. How many months
How many months of the year have 28 days?
Answer: All twelve. Every month has a 28th day.
6. I speak without a mouth
I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with the wind. What am I?

7. The elevator riddle
A man lives on the 10th floor. Every morning he takes the elevator down. Coming back, he rides to the 7th floor and walks the rest — except on rainy days, when he rides straight to the 10th. Why?
Answer: The man is short and can only reach the button for the 7th floor. On rainy days he has an umbrella, which he uses to press the 10th-floor button.
8. The more it dries
The more it dries other things, the wetter it gets itself. What is it?
Answer: A towel. It wipes others dry — absorbing their water, so it gets soaked in the process.
9. Two doors
Before you are two doors: one leads to freedom, the other to a dead end. A guard stands at each. One always tells the truth, the other always lies, but you don't know who's who. You may ask only one question to one guard. What question leads you to freedom?
Answer: Ask either guard: "Which door would the other guard tell me leads to freedom?" — then choose the opposite. The liar will lie about the truth-teller, the truth-teller will faithfully repeat the liar's lie — either way you're pointed at the wrong door.
10. What is it
It belongs to you, but others use it more often than you do. What is it?
Answer: Your name.
